Students making cards for military

Holiday Cards for Heroes, a card-making event, was held Nov. 20, 2012 at the College of Southern Nevada. The CSN club Students Making a Difference worked with the American Red Cross to craft a few hundred holiday cards that will be distributed to our military men and women around the world this holiday season.
“We hope these holiday cards will lift their spirits up and will show them our sincere appreciation for their sacrifices,” said Maggi Sin, a CSN student and a member of the club.
The American Red Cross distributes these cards along with other gift packages and goods to the military.
“I would be delighted if I received a holiday card this Christmas,” CSN student and Senior Airman Paolo Garcia said.
